‘Fighting back against the corporate web’ isn’t a new idea.
When it comes to news sites, a few major players have (wisely) created their own lightweight alternatives (like NPR and CNN) and I’m tickled to see this independently-produced ‘lightweight and fast’ frontend to Reuters’ news data.
The site’s about page also reminded of something else useful for those interested in more ‘privacy-friendly’ alternatives:
A web extension that redirects YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok and other websites to alternative privacy-friendly frontends.
